Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 10, 2026

1. Overview

WheelYield.com (“the Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

We do not require account creation. We do not collect personal financial data. We do not sell your information to third parties.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information You Provide

  • Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter (“The Monthly Wheel”). Your email is stored by our email service provider (Beehiiv) and used solely to deliver newsletter content. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Contact information — if you reach out to us via email, we retain your message and email address to respond to your inquiry.

2b. Information Collected Automatically

  • Analytics data — We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site. This includes anonymized page views, session duration, bounce rate, referral sources, approximate geographic location (country/city level), device type, browser type, and screen resolution. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data.
  • Server logs — Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server log data including IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, and HTTP status codes. This data is used for performance monitoring and security purposes.

2c. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect personal financial data (account balances, trade history, portfolio holdings, brokerage credentials)
  • We do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, or sensitive personal information
  • We do not store or track which ticker symbols, strikes, or premiums you enter into our calculators (see section 4)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver newsletter content you have subscribed to
  • To respond to inquiries you send us
  • To understand Site usage patterns and improve our calculators, guides, and educational content
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Calculator Inputs & Client-Side Processing

Calculator inputs are processed client-side in your browser and are never sent to our servers in a way that associates them with your identity.

When you enter a ticker symbol, strike price, premium, or other values into our calculators, the following occurs:

  • Ticker symbol lookups make anonymous API calls to our server to fetch market data (quotes, options chains). These calls contain only the ticker symbol and are not associated with your identity, IP address, or browsing session.
  • All calculations (yields, probabilities, payoff diagrams, Greeks) are performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No calculation inputs or results are sent to or stored on our servers.
  • Local storage is used only for user preferences (such as terms acceptance). We do not store your calculator inputs or results in local storage.

In short: we cannot see what you calculate, and we do not record which stocks, strikes, or strategies you analyze.
