What is a call option?

Answer

A contract giving the buyer the right to BUY 100 shares at the strike price before expiration. The seller must sell shares if the buyer exercises. Example: You sell an AAPL $200 call -- if AAPL goes to $210, the buyer exercises and you sell your shares at $200. You still keep the premium though.
